Northern Wreaths |
Respects were shown at the various war memorials around Morecambe Bay. Due to Covid and a nasty cold infection that has swept through the area several regular attendees were forced to be absent. |
Nonetheless Mark masons laid wreaths at six memorials in the area. |
At Scorton Stuart Mowbray and his wife June laid the Mark wreath. |

The wreath at Dalton in Furness |
At Dalton in Furness former Royal Engineer Darren Stainton, the senior warden of Furness Mark Lodge, laid a wreath in company with his son Aaron. |
Lastly marching in the procession to Barrow cenotaph and laying the Mark wreath were Ian Cottam and Bill Glassey of Furness Mark Lodge. Ever presents Bill Joughin and Geoff Waters had been struck down by the cold which was doing the rounds and felt it prudent not to attend. I too fell foul of the same unpleasant cold. |
